The Pilates classes at EFC offer a unique series of exercises designed to improve your flexibility, core strength, coordination and posture, as well as improve your body alignment and breathing. The Pilates method provides a system of exercises that were developed almost a century ago by Joseph H. Pilates.

The class will focus on developing proper techniques with breathing, relaxation, concentration, controlled movement, fluidity and strength. Pilates exercises are designed to strengthen the foundational muscles, as well as create flexibility and increase range of motion. Although goals vary with each individual, you can expect to enjoy better posture, a strong center, suppleness and a better connection with your own body.
